How to Log into Windows 10 Computer with All Accounts Disabled

All accounts are disabled and you’re locked out of Windows 10? If for some reasons all accounts on your computer are disabled / deactivated, you wouldn’t see any account at the logon screen. To get back into your computer, you need to activate Windows account from a boot CD.

Create A Boot CD

Use another computer to make a PCUnlocker Live CD. Download the PCUnlocker software and save it to your desktop. It’s a self-extracting archive (in .zip format). Unzip it and you can find the CD image: pcunlocker.iso.

Download and install the CD/USB burning program ISO2Disc, then use it to make a bootable CD from the ISO file: pcunlocker.iso. If your computer doesn’t have a CD burner, you can make a bootable USB drive that will also work.

Enable Windows Account Offline

Put the CD into your Windows 10 computer and set it to boot from CD. After booting to the PCUnlocker program, you can see the account status for all your local accounts.

Select the disabled account and click on “Reset Password” button. It will enable/activate your account and clear the password immediately.

Restart your computer and remove the CD. Your previous disabled account will be appear at the login screen again, and you can log into Windows 10 without typing a password! That’s all there is to it.
